Cooper & Company brings home two Build Georgia Awards

AGC of Georgia awarded Cooper & Company with two awards at its Build Georgia Convention in June.
The firm received top honors for its projects North Mount Carmel Recreation Center and Hooper Renwick Themed Library.
Cooper & Company was honored to have the opportunity to work with Henry County Government officials in bringing to life its SPLOST project--the construction of the North Mount Carmel Park Recreation Center to serve the growing needs of the city of Hampton and Henry County.
Our team approached the project with proactive energy from day one, engaging with the owner's project team to deliver on the almost 40,000 square foot facility. The center includes two full-size basketball courts, a walking track, locker rooms, community meeting room, multipurpose spaces, offices, an upper-level fitness and yoga studio and gaming room. Cooper & Company worked efficiently through the construction process to finish timely and under-budget which allowed for the addition of a smoothie and coffee bar to be included in the final build. With constant and effective communication practices, innovation in scheduling and prioritizing safety, Cooper and Company was able to deliver to Henry County Government and residents a pristine facility on time and within budget.
