Greyhound-Downtown Atlanta Intercity Bus Facility

Greyhound-Downtown Atlanta Intercity Bus Facility

Greyhound Atlanta arrived in Atlanta to gear up for the 1996 Olympics and offering travelers a gateway of transportation. Twenty-six years later, Greyhound was ready to upgrade its facility to something larger and permanent. Cooper & Company was selected as the contractor for this Design-Bid-Build project. Although the project was Design/Bid/Build, Cooper & Company was still very active in the Value Engineering process to allow Greyhound the product they needed in the allowed budget. The project scope included two-phases of construction of an intercity bus terminal totaling 14,000 SF plus canopies and site work. Interior finishes included office spaces, ticket desk, cafe, commercial kitchen, lobby and waiting area.
