Cooper & Company General Contractors is excited to announce the expansion of a new Northeast Georgia office location. The new satellite office is located in the City of Cornelia in Habersham County. The announcement comes during their topping out celebration at the new City of Cornelia Municipal Complex.
Vice President, Jim Cooper spoke on what the office means to Cooper and the community.
“Several months ago, we were trying to figure out a location for another office. We knew that North Georgia was the perfect growing area. So, it’s extremely special to us and, just everybody, we want to let you know you’re getting out best effort for this project. It’s personal pride for us just like it is for you all.”
The Municipal Complex is the first project out of the new location. The office houses a Director of Operations, Senior Project Manager and Superintendent.
Cooper & Company seeks to participate in the economic growth and development in Northeast Georgia along the I-985 and I-85 corridors. The continued development and expansion in the area has created an environment that is poised for strategic growth in these communities. Cooper’s objective is to invest themselves in this area to become better community partners and provide closer access to resources to our current and future business partners.
The company has seen recent success in the area and wants to keep that momentum going. Cooper recently finished a job in Northeast Georgia completing the Habersham County Admin Building.
“Our current relationships with Habersham County, the economic development team at Forward Habersham, and our municipal relationships helped confirm that this was the right area for our new satellite office” stated President, Steve Cooper.
The Northeast Georgia office is located at 1027 S. Main St., Cornelia, GA 305314. Their current corporate office location is at 304 Tribble Gap Road Ste. 100, Cumming GA 30040.
