If you were tuning in to Business Radio X last week, you may have learned a little about commercial construction and the company culture here at Cooper & Company.
Company President Steve Cooper talked shop with Gwinnett Business Radio hosts Amanda Pearch and Steven Julian last Thursday. During their conversation Steve highlighted notable projects completed by Cooper & Company in Gwinnett County, including the former Pleasant Hill Baptist Church that is now Bahama Breeze. Other Gwinnett projects include the renovated Gwinnett County Courthouse, Bay Creek Police Station, Ferguson Elementary, South Gwinnett and Central High School to name a few.
Steve also talked about growing up in the construction industry and the warm and welcoming company culture the firm strives to achieve. Whether its Fantasy Football or March Madness, there’s always some friendly office competition in addition to monthly outings. Philanthropy is also an important part of the Cooper culture. Steve is a member of the Rotary Club of Lanier-Forsyth, an executive board member with the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce and a board member for BMore Learning, who was also featured in the episode. He was recently recognized by the Forsyth Chamber of Commerce in 2020 as a community leader at its Impact Awards.
