Cooper & Company is honored to announce the award for construction of the new Norcross Branch Library. The Design-Bid-Build project is in conjunction with Gwinnett County, CAS Architecture and the City of Norcross.

The new public library will be a state-of-the-art LEED certified project. The project will be 22,000 square feet of new construction and will be built over a concrete parking structure.

The building will be a modern design with an exterior mixture of brick and aluminum wall panels. The interior has numerous open spaces with specialty rooms for adult readings, meetings, children’s area and teen gaming rooms. Features will also include an elevated plaza area adjacent to the library that includes decorative planters and hardscapes.

Cooper & Company Vice President, Jim Cooper, expressed his excitement about working with Gwinnett County.

“We are so excited to once again be working with Gwinnett County for the Norcross Branch Library as well as the Duluth Branch Library. This state-of-the-art project will be a show piece for Gwinnett County and the City of Norcross for years to come”

The Norcross Branch Library will be located at 5735 Buford Highway, Norcross, Georgia 30071.
