Cooper and Company is proud to announce our multiple recipients of the Ron Amerson Safety Award presented each year by the Associated General Contractors of Georgia.
The AGC Georgia’s Ron Amerson Supervisors’ Safety Award program is designed to recognize member firms’ front-line supervisors who make a commitment in keeping their field associates safe and able to return home to their families each day.
This annual program spotlights general and specialty contractors’ field supervisors for their outstanding safety performance and dedication to job site safety during the previous calendar year.
Superintendents who meet the requirements of a Certificate of Commendation for Safety Excellence are honored at award ceremonies around the state either close to their home office or current job site.
Cooper superintendents Ron “Buddy” Pickle, David Harris, Lee Leadbetter, Perry Atchley, Richard Thomason, Frank Sheppard, and Joe Hewett were honored with this designation from the AGCGA.
“We know our projects cannot be successful without the oversite of great superintendents. Each of these guys has done an exceptional job of making sure our sites are safe for both our employees, owners, and sub-contractors,” stated President Steve Cooper.
Congratulations to each of these gentlemen on their continued great performance.
