Job description- Pre-Construction Project Administrator

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a privately-held construction company located in Cumming, Georgia. The company is seeking a Project Administrator to assist in all pre-construction activities including but not limited to; subcontractor procurement, bid management, quantity take off, and of doing such other work as may be detailed in this bulletin or assigned to him/her from time to time by the Director of Pre-Construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processes and tracks bid solicitations, bidder’s lists, etc.
  • Processes and tracks formal correspondence with Clients and Subcontractors (Submittals, RFI’s, etc.)
  • Assist in Creating Subcontracts and PO’s
  • Assist Director of Operations and Director of Preconstruction with job-site compliance tracking
  • Assist in creating Contact Lists, Contract Logs, Drawing Lists, etc.
  • Update iSqFt or other electronic file hosting services
  • Request for information – follow up with owner response to sub requesting information.
  • Order supplies for job office and project (prior to job starting)
  • Create job site binders
  • Assist in gathering final close-out documents

Salary: $50k-60k

Experience: 3-5 years construction background

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Word
